“Capturing the history of Seminyak through cocktails and light bites”

No more than 60 years ago, the shores of Seminyak barely had any of today’s stylish cafés, chic boutiques, or grand resorts; wooden boats of fishermen from the local village lined them instead. At The Oberoi Beach Resort, Bali, Kayu Bar pays homage to this local history, and the offerings here reflect that. The drink menu is anchored by a series of cocktails with a Balinese twist, such as the Amed Clouds, which is built upon the D’Awa Amed Arak produced in a local fishing village. To pair with them, the bar also serves a lineup of light bites that pull from international flavours, from Japanese to Mexican and Italian.
